Review on WixGear Magnetic Car Phone Mount Holder: Secure Twist-Lock Air Vent Design for Cell Phones - Swift-Snap Compatible by James Mayfield

FIRST RATING (5 STARS, purchased late January 2019): Overall this is a great product at a great price. I did NOT glue or otherwise attach the metal plate to my phone but put a loop of tape inside the phone case to hold it in place where I wanted it to stay in place while I put the case on. Phone (it fits tightly between the inside of the case and the phone). I've only used one of the rectangular metal plates and it works great (I have an iPhone 6S Plus with a medium profile (not super thin, not super thick) phone case). Before doing this, think a bit about where you want to mount the magnetic holder on the air vent (I first held the holder and phone in front of the air vent to get a feel for where I wanted to). This limits your ability to adjust the vent (but you can still adjust some of them). The ventilation will not be blocked because there is space between your phone and the ventilation. UPDATE 4/27/19 (after three months of use): Regarding this feature, copied and pasted from the product description, "ROTATING AIR OUTLET MOUNT: Rotate your smartphone and rotate the display as you like. The base of the mount stays firmly in your car's air vent and won't move no matter how hard you twist or turn, so your smartphone will always stay in your preferred position "car phone mount, car phone mount, car cellphone holder, phone mount, car phone mount, car phone mount" - that worked very well at first, but over time three months in my case it got worse and worse and now it won't stay in place due to the weight of the phone and gravity so now it's useless to see the phone when it's on the mount (the I used to use for navigating) ) It's like the adjustment knob that you tighten becomes loose or something giving. I would give zero stars but you must give at least one to leave a review.
