Review on UNI-T UT301A+ Infrared Thermometer: Non-Contact Laser Temperature Gun, LCD Display, -25.6°F to 788°F (-32°C to 420°C), Red & Grey by Jason Graham

I've had a UNI-T multimeter and clamp-on meter for seven years and have never had a problem with either. They make quality tools at a great price. This infrared thermometer is no exception. Although the body of the device is made of plastic, it feels solid. The back of the handle is covered with a thin layer of rubber for a comfortable grip. There is a 1/4"-20 metal thread at the base of the handle, which allows you to mount the thermometer on a tripod. There is also a soft Velcro case with a belt loop. I found this thermometer to be accurate and consistent, and I recommend it with confidence
