Just one of the two works. I think the one that works is great, but the one that doesn't work is useless. I tried it on 3 different non-porous surfaces and after a few hours it was bottom. The reason for this purchase was to put a stained glass window in my bathroom window. I woke up from the noise. The piece swayed back and forth, forever hanging in the balance. I found another way to support my art. And tried to use hooks in another role. One does it great. But like I said, I have no faith in his ability to hold anything at all. Not even a very light microfiber hair towel. They're very pretty and unless you need both of them for important work, you'll probably be fine.
