Review on πŸ‘˜ Edoten Men's Kimono Jinbei from Japan by Tai Waldbillig

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good for garden and house.

I like to wear them at home and in the country. Very comfortable, breathable and the whole outfit costs as much as a shirt. Lightweight material is breathable and cool. Please note that this is made in Japan and Japanese sizing is smaller than US sizing. I'm 5/11 @ 190lbs and the XL fits me very well (even after some shrinking). I have a pair of XL and an L set. Size L fitted me at first but I tumble dried it and now it's a bit small. Now I take extra care to hang my jinbe and samue. It shrinks a bit in the dryer. Very good at sewing and weaving. Holds up well. However, be careful if you want to remove the tag above. Breaking the label will damage the stitching. Even then. It is limited to the tag area and does not appear to sew. The only complaint I have with any of my Jinbei is the bottom. Elastic waistband with drawstring. There is also a button and a zipper. Why? it is pointless and only increases production costs. All the pockets also seem unnecessary. The clothes are so light that you don't want to stuff your pockets or your trousers will shrink all the time.
