Poor quality and short shanks make their use very limited
I wasn't happy with that, although that's more my area of use. Rivets have a very short shoulder and are therefore only suitable for connecting very thin materials. Anything that looks like the regular plastic you see on the body of a small cart or toy is way too thick.
