OK - I have never read reviews above 2 stars because I think they are overpriced. it's like "the best" buy. I bought it to sit with my chair in a reclined position with my leg raised. Now use it while watching TV. As for some of the negative reviews here, I plan to use tape and ABS glue to get over any short drops I encounter. I attached some small Velcro (Velcro) straps to both my laptop desk and my laptop. This solved one of the other issues mentioned in other reviews regarding slippage. It is treated with care and serves the purpose for which it was purchased.
