Review on 🔘 Legrand Radiant 1.6A Fan Speed Control Light Switch, Dark Bronze with Nickel, RHDH163PBCCCV4 by Patrick Stephani

Installed last night with our new fan. It works great, looks great and couldn't be easier to install. A few key points about this switch.1. This is a FAN control, so there are three detents on the slider for three different speeds. The slowest speed is VERY slow, which is great. The fastest way is at full throttle. Don't confuse it with a dimmer. It features capacitor circuits specifically designed to control the fan and eliminate the typical "hum" you get from fans as they come up to speed.2. The box on the back of the switch is almost the same depth as the switch wall box. I had an old two gear metal box that had some hardware in the back that I had to remove to make room for the switch on the left. If I replaced the old box with a modern plastic box, I don't think it would be as tight.3. It has a second red wire to drive the second circuit. (Light?) I don't know how that would work, but since I don't have a light on the new fan I don't have to worry. I highly recommend this fan controller/switch. VERY happy with it.
