This card is an absolute disaster. It's so far away (see picture). I feel sorry for anyone who is unfamiliar with the lake (in this case Lac Des Mille Lacs) they fish on and rely on for very simple things like depth. I understand that no map is perfect and I should never rely solely on navigation. BUT, and this is a big BUT, the displayed depths must be at least within a reasonable percentage of what you actually see on your sonar. My boat's position reads 40 feet of water. My sonar reads 11 feet. INADMISSIBLE! There is a really old, inaccurate map of Lac Des Mille Lacs, about 50 or 60 years old, that they must have used. Luckily I have fished this lake for over 25 years and everything has been fine. I have no idea why they didn't use MPR verification and release a laminated card for purchase about 10 years ago. It would be great if they could use this data. But until they do, don't waste your money. I've heard Navionics has a much better map that comes from an even more recent study. I will definitely check it out.
