I liked unlimited map updates but my battery only lasts 18 months. Just like my friend. Make sure you have a power cord that will work in your vehicle or this device will become unusable. I use it for geocaching. I create a POI file with all the geocaches and their parking coordinates, upload them to the nรผvi, and let the nรผvi guide me to them so I can keep my eyes on the road. For normal driving I use WAZE
