Review on Rechargeable Digital Noise Cancelling Hearing Aid BLJ-109 - Banglijian (1 Unit) by Dave Baker

I bought this over-the-ear model after returning a smaller unit that you wear in your ear canal, with only the end of it showing. That small unit squealed horribly and I just couldn't get it to work without it squealing constantly! I decided to give this "over the ear" model a try and what a difference! It works so much better and no annoying constant squealing! I purchased just one of these (as I did with the smaller in-ear device) since I have a partial hearing loss in my right ear that makes it difficult to pinpoint where sounds are coming from. This compact over-the-ear unit is so comfortable to wear that I forget I'm wearing it. It works very well and it restored the hearing balance between my ears and now I can tell where sounds are coming from. Listening to music in my car is so much more enjoyable as I can now hear the music and voices as well from the right ear as I can from my good left ear. The on/off switch is ergonomically designed and very easy to flip between on and off - and this makes it very easy for me to hear the difference in my hearing with the unit on vs off - especially when I'm listening to music in my car - where I can really notice how much more of the music I can hear with the unit on vs it being off. I really like the position, and the ease of use of the controls, from the easy to use on/off switch, to the rocker switch above it for the volume control, and above that is the push-button for the mode control. I also like the rechargeable battery - a Must-Have feature for me as I don't relish the thought of having to constantly buy and fumble with the tiny batteries that some of these units require. The charge lasts me the entire day. The unit is well built and comes with a nice case and recharger cord and plug-in transformer. The sound quality is very good (not excellent - but not at all bad for the price!). It was very easy to set up and it comes with different sized earplugs that make it easy to find just the right one for you. Overall, I am very pleased with this unit and I would definitely recommend it.
