Review on ANYCUBIC FEP Photon Mono Pieces by Peter Parks

This is a really great product! It is very important to remove the old FEP and not damage it when installing the new one. First disassemble the old FEP and then wipe it all down. Open a new package, remove the protective paint from both sides of the FEP screen. At this point I secured the corners as I installed the FEP between the two brackets holding it in place. From now on, poke holes in each screw hole to make it easier to insert the screws. After all the screws were secured with a razor blade, I cut off the excess FEP material. It's great that they make the FEP bigger so you can get it right in and no future leaks with your resins. From this point I drill all the large screws through the FEP and then countersink the entire FEP into the VAT frame. From this point I slowly begin to screw in the screws with the Allen key provided. Slowly tighten the screws until you cannot tighten them at all. Movement around the VAT so I tighten everything evenly. When you're done tightening the screws, you'll need to clean both sides with glass cleaner, which gives amazing results with a microfiber cloth. I personally apply a 3-in-1 FTPE lube to the inside of the VAT and wipe it off with a microfiber cloth. This step ensures I don't have any bad imprints. I do this before adding the resin to the VAT. Anycubic Mono X is a great product. Rubbing the VAT screen is very simple! Take your time and don't damage the FEP or you'll end up with crappy prints! They also give a screen protector for free, I need to figure out how to use it.
