War on the Looking for tunes for my honda shadow. It seemed to fit the bill for the price. The sound is okay for the price, but won't win any audiophile awards. At speeds below 80 km/h the noise is loud enough; beyond 70 hearing gets worse, but still adequate. It's not a celebration, but cranking the volume all the way up and turning the MP3 player up to around 75% finds a good balance of loudness and distortion. Installation was easy, but the hardware is cheap. . I broke one of the clips in half trying to put it on the handlebars and had to install it with speaker mounts instead. The company was quick to respond via email on how to get a replacement but told me to work through the dealer rather than directly unless I wanted to pay $8 for a new cheap plastic handlebar mount. I found it strange. Puts an intermediary between me and the part so now I have to wait for the dealer I got it from to reply and do what YOU have to do. You'd think the company would just send the 35 cent piece in an envelope and that's it. Lots of vibration from the speaker mounts but not too bad if you tip them over the handlebars to use the bars to remove some of them. to bend. Silver/chrome zip ties can be used to secure them more firmly over the grate and not vibrate as much. Vibrations do not change the sound. I like the handlebar. Easy to use with gloves. All in all, this isn't a bad option if you're looking for a cheap way to get some decent tunes on your bike. If you are looking for a better or louder sound and base, get it professionally installed.
