Bad design for my opinion

When these lights are unplugged they default to "combo" mode on the control box which cycles through all settings. If you want them steady on, you have to use the remote to turn them on and off which negates the use of a timer. Why on earth it defaults to combo and not steady on is beyond frustrating.Then if you skip using the control box and plug directly into the plug, only half the lights work. Super lame design.
