Review on Surface Mount Compass with 2.75-inch Dial in Black by Sanny Hoffman

This compass works great in my car (I like the compass in my car what can I say), but mainly because my car doesn't seem to bother the compass at all, which is very surprising. If you get the wrong heading, it's a location/environment issue, not the compass in general. I didn't have to use compensators, but it's nice to know they are (the reason I bought this particular compass). I used a cheap hand held compass to determine the severity of the magnetic interference at the installation site and when I saw that there was no significant interference I bought this compass. It works great. But who else uses incandescent bulbs? I would like an LED bulb.
