This is definitely a first class set of arms. The aluminum is machine that meticulously and everything fits together like the door on a Mercedes. The energizing is really well done too and I expected not to wear than anytime soon how long the hinges. This is a well-thought-out set of three links of curved action camera mounting and I think they really put some thought into this. The three sections you can use any amount and assemble them in any order really gives you a great versatility for when you need to hang your camera in a way that requires a curved arm such as an overhang.So the one thing I noticed is you cannot hand tighten this. I was at first a little bit flustered because no matter how hard I twisted the locking knobs it just wouldn’t sit firm. The arm was still loose and there was plenty of play. That’s when I noticed they included a wrench in the kit. The wrench fits around the knob on the bolts. You need to use the wrench it’s absolutely necessary to tighten it down and once you use that, you get the proper leverage to tighten the arms so they will stay put.Duh, this might’ve been time to actually read some instructions.These are also very small and light and portable. I wish they came in a case but I wish everything came in the case. Particularly something like this which could really benefit from a proprietarily custom molded case. You can use a generic one but they’re not gonna fit right .I think this can take the place of several different kinds of mounts and magic arms that I have to carry around so I am very happy with this.Be aware of these are extension arms only so you’re still going to need to use your normal base and of course your camera. But for me this is exactly what I needed. And I don’t like this I would normally knock a store off for them not including a case but I’m just so happy with the performance and the build quality of these arms, I am sticking with five stars. Don’t lose the wrench. I would actually loop the lanyard around one of the arms. If you lose it you’re going to have to get another. They might’ve I should’ve included two actually.
