Review on Bosch BP976 QuietCast Premium Disc Brake Pad Set for Lexus GX460, GX470, Mitsubishi Montero, Montero Sport, Toyota 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, Sequoia, Tacoma, Tundra - Front Brake Pads by Jonathan Cartwright

I bought these pads with discs in September 2017. They were on the car for about 5 months. I would give these pads 5 stars but they are very noisy when stopped. Like the loud metallic noise you hear from big trucks and buses. I get stared at all the time because they are so loud! I will call Bosch next week to see what can be done. They stop great, they're just too loud even when stopping slowly and not going fast. This problem only occurs when stopped. When I drive and step on the brake, there is no noise. It's frustrating! Updated 01/16/2018. I bought new tires and there is no more brake noise. I now suspect that the shop that installed my brake pads and discs may have overtightened the nuts. I know that over-tightened nuts can warp the brake discs. In any case, I am correcting my previous rating from 3 to 4 stars.
