Bosch BP976 QuietCast Premium Disc Brake Pad Set for Lexus GX460, GX470, Mitsubishi Montero, Montero Sport, Toyota 4Runner, FJ Cruiser, Sequoia, Tacoma, Tundra - Front Brake Pads Review

This is for 2016 Toyota 4Runner. It might be something about my specific car but without some files they might not fit. Everything else is pretty slick, the baby came complete and would have been very easy to install without the extra work.

The squeak is gone which is great. However, they come with enough spare hardware for just one side. I also had to take it off again shortly after installation (e.g. the next day) and significant parts of the seal were already missing. Not sure if this is normal. Otherwise, my braking power has improved and my truck no longer squeaks when I put it in reverse.

I bought these for my 2005 Toyota Tundra. And on this truck it was really easy to switch. I also bought this brand for my wife's car earlier this year and they are doing really well. I think this brand represents excellent value for the materials used and I expect them to last a while. Comes with all necessary brackets and caliper grease.

Absolutely superb product. The last one I delivered (same model and manufacturer) lasted three years. Changed front and back (another model from Bosch) and I'm waiting for another 3 years of smooth driving. When you buy them, please note that the front pair and the rear pair are different models. Great direct replacement that just fits. Removing the old pins was a little more work than expected as they were corroded. I had to drop a few bucks for new guide pins. Braking is normal and quiet. I have to report dust after further use. 3 month update: After 5000 miles I have to say that these pads are very dusty so my wheels are quite black. They are quiet and stop great but with a lot more dust than my last set.

I am ordering two sets of these pads with the second set replacing the failed first set. They fit perfectly in my Tundra brake upgrade. Note that they come with factory-installed anti-rattle pads, so you don't have to buy Toyota sockets.
