After checking the price of circline fluorescent replacement bulbs I decided it was cheaper to replace the fixture with an LED type. I installed this in an roughly 11x8 utility room where I have the washer and dryer, and wanted a lot of light. This fixture delivers. I left the color temperature at the default setting. Although installation is relatively easy, until the wiring attachments are completed and the mounting bracket screwed into place the weight of the fixture rests on the dangling electrical wires. My installation procedure was to first attach the mounting bracket to the junction box, marking where the screws attached. I then unscrewed the bracket and fed the house wiring through the bracket center hole. I attached the fixture wires, fed the wires back up into the junction box, screwed the mounting bracket place and then attached the fixture to it.
