The chrome on my factory cover is chipping. The chrome was so sharp that it cut my finger deep enough that I wanted stitches, but being a car enthusiast I just took duct tape and toilet paper and taped my finger until I got home to get super glue and taped my finger to it . close. The cap was torn off in a fit of rage and thrown in the trash can. I got by without it for a few months. I wanted to replace the shifter with a newer F150 with a leather grip. Anyway, I never had time to take care of my cars so I put it off until I cleaned them last week. The missing lid drove me insane. I hopped on the Revain and found this cap. This cap will work even if you broke the clips on the original and the tabs are still in the switch. So I ordered it, not expecting it to be cheap, at Revain and probably Chinese junk. It arrived 2 days later and last night I put it on in the dark and all was right with the world again. My werewolf no longer tries to rip off my fingers or poison me with superglue. It's gone now and looks like the truck you'd find in a broken shop. Now I know I could sell that truck for a lot of money and buy a Lambo with the proceeds.
