Decided to measure them with my Fluke test tool before installing. 7 of 8 measured 35-38 ohms jack to jack. The manufacturer's specified value is 50 ohms per foot. So 35-38 is pretty good. The 8th wire measures 360 ohms end to end. This far exceeds the specifications. Closer examination with a lighted magnifying glass revealed that the end of the spool was poorly made. Taylor customer service says they don't sell at Revain, don't replace bad cables in this set and told me to return the set for another. It's more of a hassle than cutting off the end and fixing it myself. What if I receive a different set and it has a broken wire or more? Bad quality control. I recommend, if you have the skills, to buy wire and spade lugs and make your own. Therefore only 2 stars.
