Review on πŸ•οΈ Optimized Ultralight Tent Stakes by Coghlan's by Lawrence Feldman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

UPDATED review Good and great price.

A good thing for such a price. Bought this and 9" Boldstar tent pegs to compare. The Boldstar product is about the same size and shape as the Coghlans product. It comes with its own carry bag and has slings to pull it out of the ground what would make it a great product if the finish was better. Coghlans have a nicer finish with smooth edges. They have their own laces but no pocket. At $3 for 4 bets this is a steal. Coghlans also appear a little (um a hair) wider. Boldstars have a rough surface where the edges of the notches for attaching the tent are rough and sharp and wear away. I recommend using. Will update when the product is used on the next outing. UPDATE Will update when camping in Used in the Rocky Mountains and Mesa Verde. Worked great without bending down. However, it could only be used with tourist tents; our large family tent's hinges held up hardly together.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • There are some nuances
