When I first bought my working Ken Sharpbow I was amazed at the quality of the machine and the ease, but I had a few issues. I wrestled with glasses, I wrestled with knives. I've even struggled with jagged bevels, although I know I used it correctly. I thought it would look really hard but decided to give it a try after watching some videos and wanting to improve my sharpening skills. Right out of the box I was able to sharpen my knives with relative ease. I even corrected some of the knives I used to make mistakes in the configuration of the working sharpening shaft. This is invaluable to me when working on sharpening, and necessary even for a beginner.
