There have been no issues with the functionality of the part, it works perfectly. However, fitting the part was a nightmare. When installing the starter, the pin at the top holding the gear did not fit in place and sagged. I would have thought it would be an easy install because the pin had to hold the pieces together tightly. So when I started the car, everything was fine the first time. The second time I heard a loud bang and the gear went into the hanger and stalled the engine. It literally took 6 hours to remove the gearbox and remove the gear. Because of a small bolt I almost had to buy a whole motor. Very disappointed with what happened but overall it works great.
