Worked great. I installed this on an older but top Maytag that I bought the new one alongside. Household appliances are a big investment. The more years we get from them, the better. The Maytage OEM part comes pre-wired with this and a defrost heater for over $65. My element worked fine. So it was a great option. Just cut off the old one and put this together. The only thing that would make it better would be if it came with connectors to plug it in. There are some more expensive ones that do that. But I already had connections, so I didn't need them. And it had the best reviews. Be sure to test everything else to see if this is what you need. Highly recommended. Saved me from losing over $3,000 replacing a "good" refrigerator!
