They are excellent for protecting higher current loads connected directly to batteries, terminal blocks or high current switches in battery powered DC systems such as residential, marine or free standing buildings. Please note that you need to purchase the matching fuse holder. You can get them for a lower (overall) price from other sources if you shop, hence 4 stars.
