Raised 4 sons so it's time for me to get a break. I've done my share of pots, pans, and dishes. I use these bowls in my microwave to heat soup, make instant oatmeal, reheat leftovers, and even cook my easy salsa chicken and rice: 1/2 cup instant rice, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup cooked chopped chicken, and 1/2 cup chunky salsa. Season to taste with ground cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cover and heat on high 3 1/2 minutes, then allow to sit until most of the liquid is absorbed and rice is tender, 3 to 4 minutes. YUM!EDIT: Dec. 2021Bought the 30oz. bowls, pack of 80, 1 year ago (Nov. 2020) for $27.99. now the price is $36.99, that's a 32% increase in price. I'll take my business elsewhere!
