Review on Brown Leather Carhartt Men's Accessories: Legacy Belts for Men by Melvin Balamani

Revainrating 4 out of 5

thick and hard ---UPDATED---

Outstanding Belt. It's thick and solid. Non-laminated and glued tape that you usually find cheaper. This is my second and they just keep going. They will stretch so get your exact size. UPDATE: 6 months later. The second one I ordered is obviously genuine leather with a thin top layer. It has really stretched, and small pieces of cut and shaped leather are now clearly visible on the inside of the belt - contrary to what I have stated above. I guess you can't tell until you use it. At least I can't. The belt is very soft now and seems like it's about to sag. As I read the reviews I am sure you can tell the difference between fake reviews. It's like they're being paid to review. The topic is usually "Five Stars" followed by a three or four word review. Conclusion: it can in no case be full-grain frenulum leather, as stated in the description. Mine didn't fall apart like others have written in their reviews. So is it worth $30? In retrospect, probably not. But that's about half the price of a high-quality, full-grain legal belt made in the good old USA. This is your challenge.
