I have vacation rentals so I try to stay away from remote controlled items (I LOVE THEM but they often get lost). However, the main reason I like this remote product is that "you can press the side of the outlet to turn it on or off even when not in remote use." This is how I become the remote controls keep (for MY USE). I offer external LED lights and a false electric fireplace in the guest cabin/hot tub. People often leave ON for a few days. I no longer have to pull the plug to turn it off. I can go there (secretly remotely) when they are inside for the night and just flick the remote to turn everything off! Hooray! . They are instructed to "press the side button on the plug adapter when they want to turn the light on and off, etc." It's so perfect! Now I'm ordering MORE and will put them EVERYWHERE!
