Does good job but quite difficult to use as needs priming every time. I used it to pump out a drainage ditch that I planned to do once a day. But I spent a lot of time disconnecting and reconnecting the outlet hose to pour water in. Sometimes it worked without it (maybe there was still some water in the hose), but sometimes it didn't. It would be nice if it had a power switch - stopping and starting is only possible by plugging in the 110v power plug - not ideal if you have wet hands (due to flooding) and are standing on wet ground. It's also quite noisy, especially when it's "pumping out" and running out of water at the inlet (you have to turn it off within 30 seconds, but it's not always that easy). If I had a larger need I'd probably buy a more expensive pump - this one does the job for the price but I think it's best for occasional use.
