Well if you love to sleep or have a man that wears a night sweater like mine and can't stand the sweat/odours this is the duvet for you. I bought this for my husband and we were both surprised at how heavy it is considering how thin it is. We went from a chart of how much weight to gain and it was suggested for the person's body weight etc. Personally, I don't like weighted blankets, but I don't like feeling closed off in that way. However, night sweats seem to run through my husband's family and I can tell you it was bad once we started sleeping under different blankets and stuff. I'm the complete opposite of a cold blooded sleeper lol. This blanket kept him from night sweats. I recommend buying a duvet cover for it and also to protect myself from my research you don't want to machine wash this duvet due to the weighted beads on the inside of the duvet. I don't usually leave reviews that long, but I hope it helps someone. We've had the duvet for at least a month or so and it's holding up great.
