Review on 💎 Enhanced Nanodiamond Thermal Paste Conductivity Performance by Vedavyas Fleming

It is at least as good as NT-H1 and MX4

As the owner of the 10 gram tubes of the Noctua NT-H1 and Arctic MX4, I wanted to see how good they are at the advertised 16 W/μΩ, which is higher than I think NT- H1 and MX4 have a "level rating" if one exists. This is definitely better than the Thermaltake TG-30, which is only 4.5 W/μΩ. I don't normally go by W/mk numbers, but the TG-30 performed particularly poorly when I tested it on a Dell XPS 15 2-in-1 and R5 3600X with a Noctua L9x65. I'm comparing this to the NT-H1 and MX4 because I've been using this for a very long time (usually back and forth). It is similar in consistency to MX4 (NT-H1 is slightly thicker). Regarding this, I tested it on 2 devices with 4 configurations: 1. Ryzen 7 5800X processor, Asus Strix B550i, EVGA 240 CLC in Geeek A602 package. As #1 but with Coolermaster Masterliquid 240 lite3. Ryzen 5 3600, MSI MPG X570, Corsair A500 in NZXT H700 with 6 x 120 mm + 1 x 140 mm case fan4. As #3, but with EVGA 240 CLC instead. The 5800X uses a 16GB OLOy 3200MHz kit overclocked to 3600MHz with 18-20-20-34 timings. The 3600 uses a Geil 3200MHz 16GB kit with XMP settings with 18-20-20-40 timings. Both processors are stock outside of XMP. For configurations 1 and 2 with R7 5800X, running Cinebench R20 and R23 on both EVGA and Coolermaster AIO gives a maximum of 79 degrees, which is exactly the same on Arctic MX4 and Noctua NT-H1 when I used these two pastes have. Something I've heard about pastes like Arctic Silver and IC Diamond is that they may need aging and this applies to this paste where I improve the idle temp after 2-3 days. My room is around 22°C and the minimum idle temperature drops from 31°C on the Coolermaster AIO to 28°C on the 5800X. EVGA dropped from 33°C to >30, <31°C when I tested it with the 5800X. As with configuration 3, the idle temperature remained unchanged at 31°C and the maximum temperature never exceeded 65°C. I use a fairly conservative fan profile where the fans are below 70C at 50%. It was about the same as the standard Corsair paste that comes with the A500, if not slightly better, less than 1C. In configuration 4, the idle temperatures are initially around 33 °C, but can drop to 29 °C over several days. This tube lasted surprisingly long, at least 5 uses with a "pea sized" application and then many more. I'm not sure how well this thing will perform on a laptop, but considering it performs similarly to the MX4, it should be just as good, if not better. In general, the performance is not bad, the kit includes a spatula (which I never use); If I was much more scientific in testing I would probably get a definitive answer as to whether it's better than NT-H1 or MX4 and how much better, but at least I can use it knowing it's at least as good as mine other two, more massive pastes.
