Review on 🚽 Highly Efficient Wayne RPP50 Cast Iron Sewage Pump for Reliable Wastewater Disposal with Piggy Back Tether Float Switch, Black by Lance Foster

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Not the Wayne pump your dad used and that's bad news

The first one failed 2 days after installation. I then waited for a replacement (remember this is a waste water pump so it doesn't use water while waiting). The second pump failed 7 days after installation. I went to the local big store, bought a cheap one to "get" it until I decided what to do with the Wayne pump (replace again or ask for money back). The cheap pump still works after 8 months. Got my money back and bought another cheap one to keep in store as a backup. However, two cheap pumps cost less and perform better than the Wayne pump. The seals they use are not good. Oil flows out and sewage flows into the engine, then smokes into the water. My dad told me Wayne made good pumps, but that time is over.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not the best
