Great value oscillating tool accessory

First of all I don't know what types of oscillating tools this set will work with other than I can confirm it will work with my inexpensive Chicago Electric as in video shown. First, nice packaging. I love that they don't waste money on a nice durable box that just gets dusty. If you're like me, all of my tools come out of boxes and end up in closets or my red toolboxes. What I like is the foam it is packaged in (see picture). I just took it out of the box and put it in one of the drawers. Great, everyone should do that. The foam also has a backing so they don't fall through when I wear them. 9 blades consist of two parts. That made me a little nervous, then I realized that my others felt the same way. So this company really follows the industry as they are made. Because of this I decided to do a cut test with a little more pressure than usual to see how it performs and flexes. As you can see in the video, the blade I used cut through the wood very smoothly. I believe this set will last a long time if you don't abuse the blades. For example, I tried to bend one at the press connection and heard a creaking noise. As this isn't normally done in use it shows where the weak point is so I've given it a 4 for durability (I'll see how they hold up in real life). Two piece construction with only 7 blades and as I said this is the same as the others I have and maybe there is a little more flexibility in use so that could be an advantage but I am not a trained engineer , so I can't confirm that. They are all about the same thickness and apparent quality as others I have and have used. The best is the value. To buy each one individually I would spend at least $90 for 13 blades. And that's for the cheapest I could gravitate towards. This does not include grinders or sanding pads. Other blades I've seen cost a lot more so the price is great. Overall this kit is excellent value for money and matches or surpasses other blades I have in my tool kit.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Some difficulties
