I was looking for a cheap amp that plays MP3 from an SD card. This amp is very good for that. The sound is pretty good for a small room - will not replace a large room amplifier. The controls could be better - a bit confusing. The remote control does not have some things that I would like - such as selecting a folder (this is a handle on the block) - with a large number of folders, this is a minus. Also the automatic station search for this radio instead of the ability to tune stations directly is a minus. On the plus side - the price is right - it works well with bookshelf speakers and the sound - book - is fine. You'll need to read the manual to understand how to use some of the non-obvious features.
