
I used these washers on a 1/2" axle to hold the wheels on a bike when there is very little room at the end of the axle. They do their job perfectly and don't slip off the axle. In fact, when it comes time to change a wheel, I can't get the washer off. You need to pry it off and cut with side cutters. I've also used socket nut washers on the 5/8" axles and they work really well too.
