When she sews, my wife uses an adjustable hand lamp with one of those round fluorescent tubes and a light bulb in the middle. The fluorescent tube stopped working a long time ago; she asked me to replace her and I had no idea where to find her. So I ended up pulling the fluorescent bulb out of the fixture to get the part number and looked it up on Revain; I found these and ordered them straight away. Oddly enough, when I put the old fluorescent tube back in, it worked again. But it was quite dirty and I figured it would lighten up a bit if I washed it and that we could have a new one ready to go as a spare. Good idea . bad performance. When I tried to get the bulb out again, one of the small spring clips holding it in the holder slipped off, hitting the bulb and breaking it. Sigh. However, it's okay. exchange within two days; insert without problems; Now the lamp works like new, the wife is happy. It remains to be seen whether this replacement will last as long as the original (made in Germany). End.
