Not the best but does the job, so far

I just received the sunshade but given that it's been overcast whether lately, I've not had a chance to test it in the sun. I'll update the review once I can do a full test drive on a sunny day. Here are the initial pros/cons:Pros:* Well packaged* Front & rear shades have a tight fit. I'm sure the shad would stay in, even without the clips* Reflective panels are a nice bonus* Once installed it seemed to block out most of the light* With reflective panels installed, can't see anything (so I'm sure it completely blocks out the sun)* Easy to open & installed* Nice carrying caseCons:* The front unit might be slightly big because the mesh material sags in the middle. Doesn't give you that clean look but makes it look like you have some cheap sunshades installed.* The rear unit is for sure slightly large because the shade is super tight fit and there is a big sag. In the rear part (towards the middle of back part of glass) there is a 2" sag. The sag creates a distracting view when looking through the rear-view mirror (because you don't get the curve line instead of a straight line).* The rear reflective panel is about 1/8th inch larger than rear sunshade so when you have both installed, the reflective material sticks out of the shade part. Towards the back side most of the material sticks out.* Will take time to figure out how to collapse the shades for storage.Caution: Be careful when opening the shade because it snaps open fast. (It smacked into my face.)In summary, it's not a bad product for $54 (compared to $165 for Tesla unit). Only time will tell if it ends up holding up. Given that it's not a perfect fit (like the Tesla unit), I doubt this is something you would want to leave on permanently. I'll be using this on long sunny drives and put it on when leaving the car outside for prolonged period of time.

Pros
  • The reflective design can help reduce your car's interior temperature up to 30 degrees
Cons
  • May be difficult to maintain and keep clean over time
