Bird seed is fine, as all birds in Auckland can attest. But the bag - a £40 bag - arrived torn. The shipping box was full of millet and sunflower seeds. and it was impossible to take the bag out of the box without spilling several pounds of birdseed all over the carpet. The product is fine and has great value, however. buy a smaller bag.
