Great entry level BD player

I bought this player when it first came out and have used it very little. Firstly, this is my first player so I have no comparison with it. Installation was easy as you only have one method - HDMI, this has been an issue for some as they look for components that aren't there. If you are looking for a BD player with many applications, then this is not for you. This wasn't a problem for me as I have all the necessary apps on my TV and the same apps on a BD player would be a bit overkill. The picture quality is amazing in all formats, BD, standard DVD and flash drive. There's no DLNA capability for this player and it's disappointing for some, but this is really an entry-level device for me and I'm not expecting much. I don't have a 3D TV yet, so I couldn't try this part of the player. Loading times are pretty quick and I didn't hear any loud noises while playing the disc. All in all, this is a great entry-level BD player for Blu-ray newbies. The picture is great, the loading times are good and it does what it's supposed to do. I see if you don't have a smart TV it would help to have more apps that come with the player and more output options would help so I'm dropping a star. I would recommend this player to anyone looking for a cheap entry level player but still want great picture quality.
