I set up a special bike with fat tires to look for meteorites in the middle of the Arizona desert - thorns and thorns everywhere. My front tire blew out the first day - I poured 8 ounces of slime. Rear tire flat on day two - fill with 8 ounces of slime. After that, no flats in more than ten rides of 20-30 miles each through the Sonoran Desert. After 5 summer months in the garage - both tires are a little low - ripped 2 1/2" pulled in front - green slime came out and sealed the hole immediately. Pulled 1/4" wide strip from rear - tire ripped straight away deflated - rolled the tire around to disperse the old slime and inflated the tire - now holds a normal 18# pressure, no leaks. The bike already weighs 55#, so the extra 1# slime isn't a big deal. SLIME IS AMAZING - saved me from about 20 patches in a year - judging by the small, pinpoint slime leaks on the tires. I was skeptical about the reviews I read but Slime is AMAZING! I have not received any compensation for this review.
