As others have noted, I now prefer using square or torx head screws to Phillips screws (and definitely slotted screws). I started using square head screws when they appeared in a set of small pocket holes I bought years ago to mount a cabinet front frame. You have to be careful when aligning the square cutter with the screw, otherwise you may start rounding the cutter prematurely, which has happened to me in the past. So it's always nice to have a fresh set of square heads on hand. This is a good set of variable length square bits #2.
