Review on Super Compact Trunk Bike Rack by Jason Cavett

off-road driving? Buy it.

When I was looking for a bicycle stand, I started pondering. I needed something that would fit in a hatchback (Mazda 3), something that could handle speeds of up to 80mph over a very long distance (Pennsylvania to Texas over 1000 miles), and most importantly, something available. My friends, I'm happy to report that I found 1 solution to all 3 problems! It also covered an issue I wasn't aware of until arrival: it's compact. It even fits in the included small drawstring backpack! I'll tell you this thing is so easy to install you'll have a hard time believing your bike is safe lol. I would like to point out that it is easy to install but if you read the instructions and this is your first bike rack it can seem very confusing as the instructions are crap. Watch their YouTube videos instead. Also, the included instructions will only give you a few examples of how to install the lower strap, but these examples didn't work with our Mazda 3. Instead we took this strap and then placed it in the trunk area with the hatchback closed and limiters tightened. A metal clasp at the end of the strap prevented it from slipping out of the trunk. It worked like magic. Tip: Be sure to take the bike lock you are using with you and secure the front wheel to the bike frame so that the wheel and handlebars do not hit the car. I used a second bike lock to secure the bike frame to the mount because as I said the installation was so easy it made me paranoid lol. But in retrospect it wasn't necessary. Anyway, I hope this review helped!
