They just arrived today and the packaging was perfect, plugged in and after half an hour they were red and then green. I've read that they require an extra 48 hour charge regardless of fast early greens from an engineer reviewer, so haven't used them yet. Also saw a review on the thickness of the battery and measured the difference with a micrometer, the thickness is just over 2 hundredths of an inch, very minimal, and if they don't fit then it's probably a defect in the item the batteries are being put in generally poorly controlled Chinese goods. Batteries get hot during the charging process. So if you have young children around, it may be safe to keep this system away. I have provided photos of the thickness test. This is a great way to protect our landfills and water bodies from acid pollution.
