After reading some of the reviews I was a bit nervous before purchasing. Some have said they're faux leather, that they're narrow, that they're too big, or that the construction is a bit poor quality. I found the complete opposite! Ecco makes quality products. Leather and tailoring are top notch! You are the real deal! They produce them in European sizes. Which would be confusing. Therefore, it appears slightly larger for US sizes. I would downsize. I also recommend removing the laces and re-lacing the shoes to your liking. I believe this will release the tightness of the shoe and allow you to adjust the vamp better. Plenty of room in the toe area and the heel pocket offers excellent support. The insole is slightly soft and has very good arch support. I find that their style falls somewhere between casual shoes and sneakers in my opinion, making them suitable for both and will be my new casual hiking shoe. Ekko will definitely have my business in the future.
