Review on ๐ŸŒฟ Enhanced DIY CO2 Generator System Kit: Pressure Gauge, Air Flow Valve and CO2 Diffuser for Optimal Water Plant Growth in Aquariums by Caroline Jackson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Simple do-it-yourself CO2 production cheap! Great for lovers!

Especially for the price this is a way for someone to try CO2 (Do It Yourself) to create carbon dioxide for the aquarium. The amount it can produce is limited, but the pressure is still enough for more sophisticated DIY systems. I bought citric acid in bulk - 5 pounds and sodium bicarbonate also in bulk, 10 pounds. The ratio of citric acid to sodium bicarbonate you use is the same, but I bought more baking soda due to the lower unit price of the big bag and figured I could use the extra amount for everyday items around the house. For example to clean, put in the laundry or in the fridge to reduce odours. In a 60 gallon tank I use this device with a spinning CO2 diffuser so it doesn't require a lot of pressure, but using a ceramic diffuser works well too. Valve and pressure gauge - some supplied hoses can be turned off overnight which slows down the chemical reaction, no smell of yeast, it takes time to fill and pressurize, initial setup is easy, cleaning these bottles is easier than cleaning the yeast system bottles used to yeast has started consuming sugar Cons: you need to carefully monitor that the valve is sensitive and you need to "playโ€ with it to get the right amount Bottle B needs to be shaken regularly to make sure the acid reacts with Baking soda, although duration of action is determined by beats per minute, easy to use high beats per minute and therefore consumes chemicals - and quickly stops working (limited volume) Some find the preparation cumbersome (measure, mix, assemble, refill) but mixed solutions do not differ significantly from the previous preparation of a yeast system. Note: Don't forget to purchase a bubble counter and check valve for the complete system (without diffuser selection). If you want to use pressurized CO2, don't mind a DIY system, don't mind buying/mixing solutions and know how to control your system, try this. Fans will not be disappointed! I would like to know about this system sooner!
