I bought these to outline my desk and office ceiling. They illuminate the room well enough that I can use just these lights to achieve a comfortable dim environment to work in. The warm and pure white colors are great for productivity and the RGB is great for… well anything else.The remote control is super clunky. It feels cheap and hardly works even when pointing directly at the receiver. I resorted to just using the iPhone app.The iPhone app works well to change the colors and turn them on and off… but is a little complicated to create your own scenes.Instead of the remote or phone app, I prefer to change the lights with Alexa and set up Alexa routines to turn them on and off.
