In 2022, the question arose with the choice of camera. I needed a reliable, fast-shooting camera. Not one soap dish was suitable for this request. The choice was immediately between the nikon D3100 and nikon D5100 mirror cameras. Both DSLRs are good in their class. DSLRs from Canon were not considered a drop. I have my own conclusion about them, I will not write about it. In order not to offend the owners of canons.
As a result, Nikon D5100 for 1 year of use has never let me down. At sea, holidays, parties, parties. Everything can be photographed and filmed. I bought a tripod and a remote control for the camera. It is something.
Nikon D5100 is easy to use. I picked it up, turned it on, and drove to take a picture. I will not lie. I haven't seen a single blurry photo. Everything is always accurate, without lubrication. I'm still in shock that this is possible. A very decent camera. I never thought that Nikon products are serious products, and of high quality!

Pros

Especially if you have already bought a remote and a tripod. Thing! 3) Intuitive menu. Digging into the settings and getting out of there are carried out quickly and efficiently. 4) Quick readiness for work when turned on. 5) Photos are super. Matrix from the older model D7000. 6) The quality of the video is just super! The battery lasts for 1 day or 300-400 frames with flash or 2 hours of video shooting in the highest quality 1920x1080. If you reduce the video quality to 1280x720, then you can shoot twice as long with a bunch of photos in good quality.

Cons

1) Nikon D5100 takes a long time to recharge the flash. He won't let you take a picture until you wait for him. Or you can take a picture but without a flash. Then turn on the flash and with it already. 2) The high cost of a spare battery. 3) The battery drains quickly. But due to the quality of photos and videos, I forgive this to my Nikon. ))
