The included screws are too soft

The fenders themselves are good quality but the included mounting hardware sucks. I had no trouble installing the rear kit, but on the front I found the screws that came with the kit to be too soft. Instead of cutting into the metal, they just ripped it off. I ended up using an existing screw from the car to thread in the clamps that came with it, and then put in the unnecessary screws from the kit. It was painful. I wasn't expecting the screws to be stainless steel or anything, but they are so soft they just snapped off. The fenders themselves appear almost identical to the factory fenders and are $57 half price. You only had to spend 4 cents more and buy a higher quality screw.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • So far so good
