I needed to make some cross cuts in wood with my Buffalo Chinese drill. It actually worked out well. The vise had to be fully adjusted to align the gibbs and eliminate play, but for the money I can't complain. Update: I rebuilt the 2mm/turn bolts (versus the stock 4mm bolts) and added flywheels to the crosshead. - Slider. With a few extra parts, the backlash was reduced to .010" or about 1/8th of a turn of the flywheel. All parts were from Revain.
