When changing to a Mid-Century Modern look, my designer said I needed some Eames-style chairs. I bought 4 of them and a round table. Didn't think that they would hold up to occasional visits from 5 young grand kids and service 2 elderly women. These work great for both. Sturdy for the elders, stain resistant and easily cleanable for the grand kids (water colors, play-dough, markers). So functional and stylish that I bought 2 more and replaced my round table with a 6-seat rectangular. The pebbly matte finish makes them easy to clean. I've had them for 2 years now and still look brand new.
